We were made to feel so welcome by the truly lovely, incredibly generous, and thoughtful staff. Read moreWe were here about 4 weeks ago and the host was very charismatic. He joked and laughed with us and was very kind. He recommended a drink of ale topped with mead which I thouroughly enjoyed. When we told him we were Irish he spoke about Irish culture and seemed genuinely interested. After chatting for a few minutes he let us enjoy our drinks in peace and he didn't hover around us.
It was a pity we could only stay for a short amount of time as we really enjoyed it and just wandered in, if I am in Jelling again I will definitely be paying...
