This place might be good to buy, but not to rent. At first I thought things were specific to my apartment complex but after I started the process of finding a new place to live I only found a bad experience after the next in this complex. I lived in the Turey apartments. There were numerous issues with the A/C, Refrigerator, bathrooms, a lack of a Dryer with no place to hang clothes because it's forbidden to hang it anywhere in the balcony, the electricity in general, the list goes on. After trying to get help and finding none I started looking to rent elsewhere inside the complex and I found more of the same; old places, with old utilities and furniture and overpriced. No matter the size of the house/apartment, the maintenance fee was horribly expensive as well as the electricity costs (probably one of the most expensive in the whole Dominican Republic.) During my stay and through the process of moving I felt like a criminal, I couldn't walk my dogs inside the complex because I constantly kept being harassed by security (I'm a respectful person and did things right, cleaning after my dog, not going into the golf court, etc.)
Moving out i found a place in Punta Cana Village (different complex). So I start taking things out, at which point I'm told I have to inform im moving out. People told me not to, but me being an honest guy I decide to tell them, well, apparently if you behave like a criminal and not inform things you can get away with stealing from the whole complex (granted in the period i moved some of my stuff i did not know I had to inform them, but i went out nonetheless without issue), but once you inform them in a rightful way you become a criminal and are escorted outside like such, I mean they even tried to cut my entry while I was still on my legal rent period and my DOGS where still in the apartment. Let me make it clear, they started their abusiveness when I informed them I was moving out, they still have no idea to this day I went in and out with my belongings before that point.
I like to follow rules, and I was punished by it constantly here, specially after they changed their security recently, which made things worse. Never again will I come back to this god...

Read moreI would give this 0 stars if I could. Golfers who come on vacation to golf - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
The course only had 17/27 holes open and never communicated this at any point. One of the 9 holes is completely closed and of the two remaining 9-hole tracks, one of them had a hole closed.
But that was not even the worst part. After scheduling a tee time a month in advance, I arrive to find out they have scheduled a shotgun start golf tournament at the same time I am playing.
What golf course in their right mind schedules a shotgun start golf tournament and takes regular tee times simultaneously. Once the tournament was getting ready to start I was told I had to vacate the hole I was playing.
I also never saw the beverage/food cart attendant, and there was no food available before my round began. The greens are worse than par 3 conditions. On the few holes I did play, maintenance workers have their truck parked up on the green and did not move it when I was trying to approach.
I have never had such a unbelievably atrocious experience at a golf course. If you are on vacation and want to play some actual golf avoid this place...
