I was looking for a place to take my boyfriend for his birthday dinner. Was a little reluctant at first to come here since it was in the mall and not right off the beach like I’d originally wanted… after looking at tons of reviews on google, SBG kept coming up as one of the top restaurants, so this is where we ended up. Best. Dinner. Ever. There is nothing ordinary about this beautiful restaurant. The waiters are very attentive and have a great attitude.. The meal… we went with the cheese wheel spaghetti… this isn’t typical spaghetti. This will be the best spaghetti you’ve ever had.. add a lobster tail and you have a beautiful meal. My boyfriend and I were able to split the cheese wheel spaghetti and order two lobster tails and had more than enough food! We still needed to go boxes. Ordered the tiramisu for dessert. I’m not even a fan of tiramisu (as I’m not a coffee fan), but I would order this over again. If you’re even considering this restaurant, just go. You WILL NOT be disappointed! ❤️

I arrived there yesterday with white friends (and myself black) , the waitress a Dominican was very impolite ,and something like that have never happened to me before , he gave my friends the welcome and asked if they would like something to drink a sparkle water etc and he then arrived with the water , but he never gave me the welcome or asked me if I wanted something, all the attention was toward my friends just because they’re white. Then we were eating I asked for some steak and wine , they arrived with the steak and the wine was never brought to me , so I had to ask someone else to bring it. At the moment of paying they just took 1 bill before even asked if we wanted separate bill, so they had to go and make the bill again and they just split the amount of money we spent in general between us an not by what each one of us ordered . The place look very fine and have good review , the prices in comparison to others restaurant on the area are high so that’s why I thought the experience would be the same as good as the decoration/price , but I think it is not the same when You are black . I’m definitely not going there anymore .

I was so excited to go go BR for the first time. We were spending the weekend from Miami with my best friend and were referred by another friend not to leave Punta Cana without having dinner at BR...my fish was cold and his meat was undercooked, red and bloody, he ordered medium well. He asked the server to take it back and it came back overcooked...we are restaurateurs, and we could tell that the kitchen equipment looked very good, however, it seems that the cook was not experienced on the cooking temperatures. The server was very apologetic. I asked if the chef, Joaquin Renovales, could come to the table but he never showed up. He had been at the table next to us visiting the customers. Highly disappointed to learn that this famous restaurant, where world well known people from all over the world come to experience the culinary culture of our well known and famous artist Juan Luis, who I admire and respect as a great musician. An expensive restaurant is one that overpirzes the menu that serves low quality food.

Our crew of 12 couldn’t have been more pleased with SBG and staff! This restaurant was easily a highlight of our trip. We wanted to coordinate our menu so we could budget to pay for our entire group. The manager was SO helpful! She was responsive, understanding, and even accommodated last minute changes. She communicated efficiently regarding a slight change to our menu, and was overall a dream. On to the actual experience: We arrived and were immediately whisked away to our table with no wait time. We had barely looked at drink options before our preplanned appetizers were being set on our table, hot fresh and delicious. Our waitstaff was so friendly and prompt. The atmosphere of the restaurant was just what we were looking for. We highly recommend this restaurant for any, a couple looking for a nice evening or a group looking for vibes and great food. Literally everything tasted great, from apps & drinks to entrees and desserts. Thank you SBG for being absolutely amazing.

Thank you "Richard" (Restaurant Manager) for personally helping to make our recent - Friday / 25 February 2022 Evening Stay Wonderful! - Soup of the Day was absolutely amazing. Thank you for suggesting the Prime Cut (RR) of Rib Eye along w/ the Friday Yuka - It was absolutelyl amazing! - I'm going to attch some additional picture! - Andrea truly enjoyed her Fish Dinner; - This meal was one of the highlights of our recent visit to Punta Cana. We plan to start making frequent trips as our family has purchased an apartment in Punta Cana and will be spending considerable amounts of time in the area. As a local, this is my favorite restaurant at the moment. It has great ambiance, beautiful decor, awesome food, drinks and service. But what I love the most about it is how cozy it is. Everything here is well thought out to create a vibe that incites you to be present. I usually visit with family and friends and always seem to feel like we’re the only ones there, even though it is usually busy. Come here for a special occasion. Come here to chill. Come for a fun night out. Come here for drinks. It is a versatile place and the possibilities are endless. Anything you want it to be, it will be. Menu recommendations: - In my opinion, they have the best tuna tartar in town. - The crispy rice options are small (like really small), but mighty. So so delicious. - Panna Cotta
