This is an authentically Dominican food truck experience. It's located off of JF Kennedy in or near the Los Jardines neighborhood, located next to a nice public park. The Chimis are awesomely good and the portions are super large, so bring an appetite. However, the weekends are extremely busy and tables are in high demand. This was the only reason I reluctantly gave 4 stars. The atmosphere is very lively in a typically Dominican chaotic and fun way. Parking is an issue, but there are many guys "helping" you to find a space. But what really shines are the Chimis at El Rubio. Really tender meat with marinated flavor, cooked over wood coals. The girl kept messing up my order, and once she got it right, she gave it to someone else to the point the chef got annoyed at her too.
