Muelle 47 - Seafood Culture — Restaurant in Santo Domingo

I have had several meals at Muelle and it has never disappointed. Scrumptious sea food, a sophisticated take on classics such as ceviche or grilled octopus, a chef that treats food knowledgeably and with respect, a clean and pleasant locale and great service.

Muelle offers these little amuse-bouche soups on the house at the beginning of a meal, and those have always been exquisite as well.

The only complaint - the prices. I can understand that quality comes with a price tag, but the prices are a bit...

I loved everything about this place. I'm bringing my sister. Kudos to Sr Carlos. Great service. Awesome food. Even the music was good. The staff tried to speak English to my husband which was respectful and kind. The food was as delicious as the pictures. They have two areas, outdoor and inside. We sat inside but it looks good outside more people sat there.

Even thou it's a seafood restaurant they had other options like steak etc which I really liked because I've been to many places that...

Nice place. Seafood was Ok. Nothing spectacular. Shrimp cocktail was disappointing. Cup of mayonnaise with barely 5 defrosted shrimps. Grilled Seafood plate for 2 was a but disappointing as well. Seafood restaurant went out of lobsters and they haven't even offered to put something instead. The price was the same tho. Fish croquettes was good. Bathrooms smells like cigarettes. Wanted to shower myself after visiting it. Total check was too high for the place...
