Although the owner seems to be very charming, her service and manners are different between foreigners (nice) and locals (rude and plain in her answers). The cook/owner was a very talkative pleasant lady who does the cooking and serves the order. The neighborhood was a bit lonely and out of the way, even though we had no problems and saw nothing to be concerned, we were always and actively looking to see if a unsafe moment or situation occurred. Read moreWe stopped here after visiting the funicular overlooking the city. Possibly the friendliest restaurant proprietor I’ve ever met. Said her Airbnb guests and restaurant patrons were like family and she treated us that way (she actually emailed us recently to send well wishes).
Oh, also, the empanadas were delicious. Great hole-in-the-wall spot for lunch or snack.
