On the positive side, the food presentation and people's attention was great. We felt really welcomed from the beginning.
On the not so positive side, tables arrangement is a little odd, in the inside section. Tables face the entrance door and wind comes directly to you, making you feel cold really fast. Maybe a separation of some sort in the entrance would make the atmosphere more comfortable inside. Another option would be to relocate the kitchen but that sounds like a big task.
Interestingly, on the outside tables section, it felt warmer, so we stayed there.
Also on the not so positive, some plates tasted really good but others tasted overcooked.
Future you (or me), give it one more try. People and presentation made me want to go...

They started in July 2021 and their logistics still need some polishing but they are so amicable it makes up largely for it! Highly recommend them to locals (my wife and her family are from Quito and loved it) and foreigners alike to enjoy one of Ecuador’s best cuisine. I have not been disappointed once...
