We recently visited Lavender Restaurant with a group of friends, and while the experience started with some challenges, it was saved and completely turned around thanks to one person: "Ahmed". First, I must be honest, arranging an outdoor table for our group proved difficult. Phone and WhatsApp communication felt unprofessional, with staff pushing us to split up to fit their tables' arrangement or sit inside instead of accommodating our reservation.

Despite being told no tables were available for three days (Thursday-Saturday), we postponed it to Sunday, only to be told to call again the next day 8 am. This felt like they were prioritizing their table arrangement over our reservation needs, unlike typical service in Egypt and elsewhere.

After wasting three days, they tried to pressure us to decorate two tables to keep our group together. Imagine a business-minded mentality that believes a profit of 2 people making decorations will get them a higher profit than a group of 8 guests! They prioritized profit over customer satisfaction by trying to force us to decorate 2 tables to keep our group of eight together, effectively penalizing us for our size.

So we canceled our reservation due to this disrespect. Eventually, Mr. Yasser was the only one who cared about our reservation; he called and finally managed to accommodate us with a large outdoor table, demonstrating a helpful and welcoming attitude despite our booking being for a later shift (5 pm).

Second: The atmosphere when we arrived didn’t help either — the first thing you see when you arrive, gloomy and scowling faces, staff and management seemed serious and cold, and the welcome felt robotic rather than warm. Everyone seems stressed and unhappy with the guests, for a while, you ask yourself what's wrong with those ppl! :🤣🤣

Third: Came the highlight of our evening: Ahmed. They asked us to move inside after our time slot had ended. We weren't happy at the beginning, but from the moment Ahmed took care of our table indoors, everything changed.

His warm smile, positive energy, and professionalism made us feel instantly comfortable. He anticipated all our needs, handled every request with ease (even taking photos and videos for us!), and truly went above and beyond. Ahmed is the kind of person every restaurant dreams of having on their team — genuine, attentive, and clearly passionate about making guests happy.

Ahmed is the only person in this restaurant suited for hospitality work. Thanks to him, what could have been a disappointing evening became a memorable gathering for all of us. Honestly, if I owned Lavender, I’d make Ahmed the model for the entire team; he has the right spirit for hospitality and knows how to make guests feel valued.

So, while Lavender still has room to improve when it comes to guest communication and staff attitude, we’ll definitely come back, and that’s only because of Ahmed. Thank you, Ahmed, for turning our night into a wonderful one. Keep shining with that amazing smile! 🙂🤩

Food: Our group ordered a variety of dishes, and every single one was excellent. Everyone was happy with their meals and drinks — everything was fresh, tasty, well-prepared, and served hot and quickly. Big thanks to the chefs and staff for delivering such a satisfying dining experience.

Unfortunately, your restaurant repeats the same series of prevarication and fraud to cover up your mistakes that do not rise to the level of catering services instead of admitting the multiple mistakes you made.

Personaly I contacted the place by phone more than 3 weeks ago to ask about the possibility of holding a group breakfast at your place in a long call with one of your employees, which I expect to be fully recorded as usual in any high quality places. Another contact took place through WhatsApp to confirm my request, which is a group breakfast for a number of 40 - 50 members. Visited the place myself to make the final arrangements regarding the group breakfast and discussed with your employees (3 employees) all of the details and full arrangements needed until venue setup, menu and internal transportation issues. Communicated again by phone two weeks ago with the one of your employee to inform him of the gathering date, time and number of attendees where he indicated that breakfast booking for groups is only 3 days prior to any gathering of time in the case of groups and the restaurant management is fully aware of our request with all the details as agreed earlier. Tried to call the restaurant 3 days prior to our breakfast date as agreed days before our breakfast date and no one answered, and I sent a WhatsApp message to find suddenly that I was required to pay an amount of L.E 10000 pounds rent as rent fees. 6.Immexiately went to the restaurant to meet with the officials to find a new employee who knows nothing anything about our gathering. The employee insisted on paying rent for the place, although for more than 3 weeks I was not ever informed about this. I asked to meet the owner of the place and I was informed that in Hurghada and suddenly one of the people appeared after a severe confusion among them to claim that he was the owner of the place and when confronted with the subject of Hurghada, he got confused and said "just arrived"

After all of this, your place still has the courage to further falsify what happened in front of everyone instead of apologizing and modifying your system full of exploitation and fraud You have been fully aware of all the details of our collective breakfast for more than 3 weeks The agreement was made with your employees on the phone and through WhatsApp and visiting the place Rent is not claimed except in cases of parties The rent is deducted from the value of the total bills in case of parties Any high-end restaurant has a customer service system and not to dodge customers

If there is any credibility, you would dump the audio recordings and surveillance cameras in the place (if you had these technologies as a high-end place) and look behind the disaster that your employees did to correct your mistakes instead of prevaricating and trying to blur the truth.

Over and over again...The real story is not what you claim, and it is my right as a client to write the truth in the face of the exploitation and evasion that I expect many of those who have dealt with you have...

I recently visited Lavender Lounge & Restaurant (لاونج ومطعم لافندر), and I must say it was a delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the elegant and cozy ambiance. The decor strikes a perfect balance between modern luxury and traditional charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect throughout our visit. Their professionalism and friendliness truly made the experience exceptional.

Now, let's talk about the food – absolutely outstanding! The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, blending flavours from around the world with a special Middle Eastern touch. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast collection . Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour.

The outdoor seating area was another highlight, providing a serene environment to enjoy a meal with friends or family.

Overall, Lavender Lounge & Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it for special occasions, casual gatherings, or simply a relaxing evening out. I can't wait to return!
