Rosto — Restaurant in Giza

Rosto Restaurant is located in a very popular, noisy and crowded area. The area around is not clean, the streets are full of salesman with many types of products. Barbecues are cooked on the open and the air smells of smoke but the restaurant is very popular among the locals due to its affordable prices and delicious food. I went with my family and could not find an empty table outside, (not that we wanted) but we found one in the inside. The interior is small with narrow space between tables. The service was fast, food was served on disposable styrofoam dishes and drinks on regular glasses apart from the glasses, everything else was disposable, I believe to cut costs. Thee food portions were very generous and the food was hot and tasted good. The fried fish fillet was crunchy and delicious but what we liked most was the Shawerma. We haven't use the restrooms. The food is great. Although, it takes a long while to be served and in the meantime nothing extra from the restaurant is being provided to spend time in an enjoyable way. Decoration isn’t the best and not attractive at all. Prices are regular just as other restaurants. Also to add i felt they are kind of jealous in the food and i mean by that for example - Fries are provided in low quantities even for family meals as will as pickles and such..

Its not my first time to try the restaurant, my experience wasn’t the best neither was the worst. But I wouldn’t recommend often compared to other competitors. I would only recommend it from while to while if you want a different...

The experience was fine. The place there is really hectic though, things are in order regardless of the minimal space. The worst part is having to wait for a seat , then wait for your meal. It takes around an hour before you can begin eating.

I've went three times now but this last time there were a few faults in our orders. (Quickly fixed.) And a few people were getting irritated waiting to be seated.

The meals there are pretty cheap. They do contain tons of oil though. Most of it isn't technically healthy but if you're looking for a good time with a few friends or maybe family. This is definitely a great spot.
