Akleh - أكله — Restaurant in New Cairo City

We were hesitated to go or not to go since there're many other restaurants in the mall and we had no specific preference, we decided to go and we didn't regret it. We ordered shawerma, sandwiches and meals, all of them came fresh, hot, and extremely delicious, the food came within minutes which is good as well. They have seating inside and outside, the place is clean and joyful due to the white color of the place, the staff were very polite and friendly. I ordered delivery, the food came more than an hour later, (not fast enough for just a couple falafel sandwiches).

The falafel sandwich didn't have much flavor and it had a pretty large amount of vegetables.

The food looked decent , but the taste was not that good. It needs a lot of improvement.

Relatively good prices for quantity, but pretty expensive delivery for a 13 minute ride.

Overall my experience was good, but I don't think I would order the same...

Absolutely horrible experience. The shish taouk sandwich used to be amazing. A couple of months back it gave me food poisoning, no doubt about it. Chicken was undercooked and revoltingly soft. I made the mistake of giving them another chance yesterday and it was one of the nastiest meals ever. Plenty of skin and soft connective tissue between the pieces of chicken rendered it completely inedible - I couldn’t actually eat it....
