Overall experience was good. We had a late lunch and the food hit the spot. We started off with the chicken and mushroom soup. It was pretty good and opened the appetite accordingly. We also had the spicy potatoes which were absolutely delish! Please note, these do pack a punch and the spice is not subtle. We then ordered a shareable cheese and sausage marekeesh (probably spelled that wrong). I enjoyed this, tho next time I can do without the sausage. Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant. I had a terrible experience watching a Liverpool game at this café. The manager abruptly switched the match channel to a local Zamalek game, showing a complete lack of respect and poor communication skills. His impolite attitude made the situation worse, and I felt disregarded as a customer.
