I can not complain about the quality of the food. This is my second time at the restaurant and both times the service and food have been delicious. The reason for the SINGLE star is for the treatment of owner/management towards the waitresses. For one thing house keeps the tip no matter how large or small (tip is included in the bill) I asked the waitress about the tips and they are the ones who informed me of what happens to them.
I then proceeded to give my waitress a little extra for herself, to my surprised the owner took the little money I had given to the waitress for the house, something that is not acceptable specially in a country where people make less than 400 dollars a month on the average. This type of new age slavery and thievery is not acceptable and although the food is good I will not participate in such ugly behavior. This place should be fined and made liable for such conduct. Delicious but never again will I set foot in a place where the owners have no integrity. SHAME ON YOU...
Read moreI visited El Salvador and it was nice to get some Korean food while on vacation. It’s not the quality of Korean food you’d get in a city with a large Korean population but in El Salvador, it’s not fair to make that comparison when it’s probably very difficult to get some of these ingredients.
We ordered jjajangmyun, jeyuk bokkum, and soon dubu. The pork dish and the soon dubu were very good. With jjajangmyun, you really need fresh handmade noodles to make it taste good which I don’t think they had—but if you’re here for a while and have a craving for it, it’s not terrible.
Highly recommend visiting Seoul Garden if you’re craving good Asian food that’s not a chain restaurant. I am very happy there is a good Korean restaurant in El Salvador so Salvadorans can try authentic Korean cuisine. We plan on visiting again...
Read moreThe food here is good, however, the service is so terrible I would never go back. The servers are not helpful if you ask questions about the menu. Two people ordered a meat dish, they placed a dish directly in front of one person (not in the middle of the table like it was family style) and then after 30 minutes of waiting for the second dish of meat we were told the original plate was two orders of meat. There is a bell you ring if you want service, however, they just ignore the bell. They are rude in general. You will get yelled at if you wander around the garden area while waiting for your food. While the food does taste good, there are other Korean restaurants in San Salvador that taste as good with far...
