Caliche's — Restaurant in San Salvador

Great place! You can sit outside or inside, (be aware: they allow smoking outside). My server was fantastic - responsive friendly & accommodating my poor /tiny Spanish. On the night I went there were two stages: one for a solo singer (wide mix of music styles) playing the piano on the patio and the other for a live band with a dance floor (cumbia & merengue). The shrimp cocktail was huge even though I ordered the smaller option and the shrimp seemed good quality. (I didn't expect it to come in a cream sauce but oh well. When you walk in you just seat yourself. I went on a Saturday night and the place was almost full but not overcrowded. I arrived at 8 something and I could still easily find a table. Disappointing, they do not have anytjing we ask!
