It was great when they started, a real gourmet burger. Now it's very "American"in a sense that everything is rather greasy. The burger's recently have never been cooked to the ordered temperate, at least for me, I always ask for a medium rare, because medium would be fine too, but I get mostly a completely well done slab of dry meat (fully gray inside-out) can't really taste the quality of the meat, but maybe that's the reason, to hide it.. I've long suspected that they've started adding more and more bread to the mixture. Was gonna give it 3 stars, but after writing this I'm thinking for the price I'm paying I should be allowed to expect good quality and the correct coming temperature on my burger, which I haven't had for at least the last 10+ times.. still give another try and change the rating and review accordingly. Don't try the donut - dry as sand.
Decor is nice portions decent and burger's at least look good. Still being able to cook the correct temperature on the meat should be the 101 of a...
Read moreBig burgers, but not the best in town. Too greasy and a bit pricy. Burger selection is great though - from XXL-burgers to burgers with fillings. Chips, milkshakes and other stuff is good too, but not anything special. Coffee is for free which is unusual in Estonia (but yes, it's an American restaurant). Sometimes they have great daily specials with a good price, so you can ask them about it. Overall food quality is great, so check them out if you want to eat something bigger. You will never leave the place hungry. Only thing that may be unpleasant is that it gets easily crowded. Usually it happens during evenings or weekends. In summer it's easier because you can eat outside. Restaurant is located in Nõmme. You can get there easily by bus (18 or 14) which takes about 20 minutes from downtown. Bus-stop "Haava" is in front...
Read moreBuns grilled into the charcoal - completely burnt.
We ordered the grilled cheeseburger and pulled pork burger, with fries. Pulled pork burger was very tasty, cheeseburger was very dry. But both burgers had burnt buns (cheeseburger suffered the most and turned into the charcoal which is really not safe to eat). Fries were ok. Also, you can get free coffee.
Also, the place isn’t very clean - there was someone’s hair on the table (actually, plenty), and the stains from not being well-wiped. The plate with a grilled cheeseburger had a bit of dried out food (?) on the side - not from the current meal, but rather non-thorough wash. A tray with spices and sauces looked sticky.
The place has a lot of potential - with atmosphere and all the attributes, and music selection, but needs some love at the kitchen and...
