High Altitude Kitchen — Restaurant in Addis Ababa

I should start by saying that i went there with a group of friends for drinks. There was an event and Marathon vodka and gin were on promotion 😃.

There was a good crowd and good music.

We had the steak and some salad to try the food and I must say that the steak was very very good. I don’t think there’s a better one in town. The salad was good too, but we had more of the steak. Check it out and see if you agree.

The service wasn’t particularly great on the day as they were understaffed for the number of people that were there and we had to remind them of our orders repeatedly.

Minor update: I have now been back in two separate occasions and I must say that the service was much better. It is a quieter place for food and cocktails. I have tried the chicken and had the steak again...

It's a new place that just opened up, but it's a cosy place for dinner and drinks. They have nice cocktails. The food is also good. Tg3y had vegetarian options as well. There is some room for improvement, but it is still a good option. The service was great and attentive staff. The price can be considered on the high end, but it is also similar to most places in Addis currently. I personally didn't like the lasagna because of the dish that it came in. But overall,...
