Went out with my girlfriend for a little sushi night. Chill vibes, good lighting, music low enough that we could actually hear each other rare these days.
We had the sashimi, a few rolls, California rolls, and some starters and let me tell you, they didn’t disappoint. Those cheese balls? Dangerous. Crispy on the outside, molten gold on the inside. I could’ve eaten a bucket of them.
I downed two bottles of Coke like I was in a race. She went with the matcha shake said it was aight, not life-changing, but it did the job.
The salmon? Look it’s Ethiopia. You’re not getting that buttery, melt-in-your-mouth Tokyo grade. But you know what? It was pretty good. Clean, fresh, didn’t taste like regret. I’ll take it.
