It was a hilarious experience. My partner made a reservation on the 8th of February 2025 for 12th feb. Everything was discussed, decoration, birthday welcoming greeting by the staff, escorting to the selected reserved decorated birthday table. Time was set for 10 am. Yet when we arrived, we found our table being had 2 guys in it, and it wasn't reserved, no decoration, no welcoming was done as foretold by the coffee hub staff. Everything was paid in advance.
It ruined the suprise, happiness and excitement my partner planned for me, still now she is sad that she couldn't make my day brighter because of the carelessness of the management.
Everything was noted down in a reservation book, and yet they coming to us saying, it was a miscommunication. Question arises, "How come miscommunication when it was all noted down by their staff. "
Even it was foretold that they would call my partner before the arrival, took her number and every detail.
They did give us the vip lounge but it doesn't compensate for the ruined suprise. Happiness can not be bought.
They need to fix their work ethics and management. Normally reservation personal are your first customer, thats why it was reserved first place and paid for in advance. Still my partner was left stalling and ignored for 15 minutes even when she said she had made a reservation. Extremely pathetic.
Thats not it. Even there was a long hair spotted in the burger. All they said we will replace it, but the hair wasn't in the meat, it was in the burger bun itself.
That still is bad practice of hygiene. We pay alot as the prices are high there and thats what we got.
If i had to compare coffee hub with grace road and wishbone. I'd say grace road and wishbone is much best, because even if there is no reservation and you request for instance birthday suprise, they attempt it with amazing welcoming and suprise without flaws. But this was reserved 4 to 3 days prior and still they ruined it.
When requested to see Manager on duty, I was told, Manager is on day off.
So poor customer service. Everything is fine, but client happiness matters the most, which...

Read moreI experienced 2 incident with me where the staffs of Coffee hub Suva were so rude.
Firstly I went to have breakfast with my daughter and they made me sit at a tiny table and clearly told me that as soon as a bigger table will be empty they will shift me. I ordered my meal and after 5 minutes I have noticed the bigger tables got empty. Upon asking then if my daughter and I could kindly be shifted to a bigger table the staffs replied rudely to me NO since it was only 2 of us dining in so we can’t sit at a bigger table with 4 chairs. I said that you guys said earlier once the bigger table is empty you will shift me there and then they just refused to respond to my question. I ordered a big breakfast with coffee and my daughter had scrambled eggs and toast with hot chocolate. Obviously we would need a bigger table.
Secondly we went to have breakfast again and ordered coffee and the waitress said sorry our coffee machine is broken down. How can this place be a coffee shop when their coffee machine is broken down.
Lastly I would say this place has lost its vibe. Poor customer service and rude staffs. Staffs are not interested in serving you. You have to call them several times...
