There were able to accommodate a table for one (there's only about 3 smaller tables for 1-4 customers to dine) and staff were really friendly. It would have been better to have a greeter at the entrance to seat customers (the counter is not near the front entrance). My order was taken swiftly (once I decided what I wanted as the menu is quite extensive) and it took a moment for my order to come out as the dinner service was quite busy with large groups. I ordered the beef fried rice and the (chicken) wontons. The fried rice needed more beef and better quality - beef strips would be much better than finely chopped beef. It was also quite greasy. I loved the wontons - juicy and piping hot with a good dipping sauce. Let's see what my next meal will be like! There's a surcharge when using foreign cards to pay so I'd advise paying with FJD if you want to avoid the surcharge.
Since I was staying at the hotel next door I ordered dinner from here more times. One evening my brother and I dined in - ordered the wontons again and a chicken dish. On the other two nights, there was no seating available so I could dine in but the wait staff mentioned that delivery to my hotel room was available. I went for this option without hesitation as I could wait for my order in my room rather than in the restaurant (there was no waiting area anyway). Ordered the chicken chow mein and it was alright - not the best I've had but it was a good portion. I think I was expecting the noodles to be slightly thicker. Third dinner order was chicken oyster sauce and rice - not a decent portion for the price and rice is an additional cost. Room delivery is a great service so was very happy in...

An expansive menu in black binders, hundreds of choices spelled out in English with a few photos on the wall of highlights, prices ring in slightly lower than similar spots in America while Ingredient quality and cookery are similar.
Authentic enough, fried Spring Rolls served at a scalding temperature without a lot of excess oil, Seafood Chow Mein comes in a generous portion for just $20FJD and although its flavor is fairly benign Soy Sauce Fried Prawns more than compensate with 16 (actually Shrimp) bathed in...
Read moreI had lunch there on Saturday 16th November. The staff did try to appear friendly but when asked about their dishes, he had no clue. Staff was not aware of gluten free options, or if the restaurant uses gluten free soya sauce.
The restaurant air conditioner was being repaired, and the staff did not make an effort to open windows. With such high price, the food was nothing special but typical Asian dish full of msg and oil. I ordered seafood fried rice. I could not guess what meat was in the fried rice. When asked I was told surimi, prawn and squid. The lady owner is very loud and having someone speaking Asian in a loud voice as background noise was not a...
