I came to Fiji in 2010 as a volunteer and was staying with a local host family nearby. As I was here for a month I grew very sick of curry etc very quickly so having a McDonald’s on my way home so near where I was staying was absolutely perfect - I also felt it was a trusted brand as being from the uk you just can’t be sure how ok food is abroad at times. Came here regularly for breakfast and dinner on my way home - my host family would make me weird packed lunches like fried egg sandwiches (not sure who wants to eat cold fried egg in the boiling heat of the sun lol) so I’d always throw them away and starve until I could get something to eat here on the way home. The staff were always incredibly kind and the food was decent and a good price. Unfortunately I fell really seriously ill towards the end of my stay I can’t be sure exactly what caused it but I do vaguely remember eating a burger here that night before I was violently sick later on so it’s possible I got food poisoning. But as I say this was back in 2010 and I’d been working with children plus eating all sorts since I’d been in Fiji plus bitten all over by mosquitos so I have no idea what was the exact cause of my severe illness but it was a horrendous end so such an incredible four weeks. I’d throughly recommend this branch of McDonald’s they are...
Read moreThe food is great but only thing I don't like is that when I'm trying to order but getting late responds. What is this type of service. We come here for food and have to wait in line and then they take the other lines order . I understand that they are busy but at least someone else as an stand by can take the orders. These is a serious matter , they need to take action on their staff especially on the taking orders. And also they sometimes don't have ice cream , If you guys don't have it on stock then at least put it on the menu that is on the driveway side . The security doing the night duty has to be seen on the drive through side not near the cashier side where we pay . Sometimes they don't wear safety wear like hand clovers. Duty manager needs to have track of this things , take track of what are they doing is right or wrong . So this is why I don't come here that much cause before I use to come every second day but now I think they are getting worse and very slack on their duty and job. To the manger he/she needs to have a meeting with the...
Read moreVisiting from Australia, I called into the McDonald's Nadi store today for lunch with my family. Store was clean, service was good - spoke to team member "Nemo" who was very polite and friendly. An enjoyable experience. A few hours later we noticed that my daughters necklace pendant was missing so went to the 2 stores we had visited over the last few hours. No luck at the first store we visited, so went back to the second being McDonald's Nadi. The manager and team members were very helpful and caring. When we were speaking to the store manager, one of the team members recalled seeing it on the floor. The pendant wasn't expensive but had a lot of meaning to it for us. They checked their rubbish bags out the back and amazingly found it. They went through so much hassle for us. We would like to thank everyone at the store who helped us find the pendant. I will visit your store again next time I come to Fiji. Good work...
