Pizzeria Maggio was a nice new acquaintance in Lauttasaari.
Small place with seats for aprox. 16 people. Cozy little place with all sorts of decor here and there. Not a fancy place or a fine dine place. It's on the ground floor so easy access for everyone but might be a bit crowded with trolleys or wheelchair.
Staff was super friendly and helpful and made our kids time super nice by loaning them comic books and toys while waiting for the food. And by the way of you don't have kids this means that also us adults had a super nice time.
A long list of different pizzas with a fresh taste and good dough. I'd wager that all the sauces are self made or at least they buy something artisanal. Prices go from around 10€ to 14€ and value is good enough. Nothing to tell home about but you'll get your belly full and enjoy filling it.

First of all the cheese was not of any high quality and didn't taste of anything. Also the menu said this pizza should have Gorgonzola but I wasn't able to taste any. The base lacked a bit of seasoning and so did the tomato sauce. So the pizza was a bit bland to what it could have been.
