Ravintola Persilja — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

My husband and (and now our baby too!) have been coming here semi-regularly since we moved to Lauttasaari at the end of 2023. We absolutely love this restaurant. They have a fantastic lounas buffet that is always well supplied with a variety of hot foods and nutritious and refreshing salads, as well as a soup and bread. They have the best hummus on the island. The ambiance here is lovely as well, both for lunch and dinner. During the warm months plenty of patio seating is available and in the cold months the inside is very cozy and welcoming. Sunday 'brunch' was a huge disappointment. For 17,50e you'll get normal lunch with next to nothing special to justify the price. The restaurant didn't have working air conditioning so pray it won't be a hot day. Their solution was to have the front door open so the tables and the restaurant was filled with houseflies. I get it's hard to chase 1 or 2, but I counted 6 on two tables. Can't even guess how many there were in the restaurant and we even came as soon as it had opened.

It was my first and last visit to that restaurant.

I live upstairs of the restaurant. On a Saturday night, loud music was kept played when small children were sleeping. I repeatedly asked the restaurant to stop or turn down the music. But they didn't. Furthermore, I got injured with some bloodshed by assault when I made a complaint. There is no apologize from the restaurant. I don't know how food tastes here or how its hospitality is. However, that was what actually happened, and people should know this...
