Restaurant Wanha Pehtoori — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

We stopped by Wanha Pehtoori on a sunny and warm sunday in mid-July 2025, and it was a really nice place to take a break and enjoy the weather. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with a charming outdoor seating area that made the most of the beautiful summer afternoon.

Although we only had drinks—cold Karhu and Blanc beer on tap—they were served perfectly chilled and hit the spot. There were a variety of other options available too, food as well, so there’s definitely something for everyone.

The service was friendly and efficient, and the whole place had a nice local vibe that made us feel right at home. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for a laid-back spot to enjoy a drink in...

A bar more than a restaurant, also serving reasonably good hamburgers and salads in the good season. A much loved stop for hot juice and "munkki" (a kind of donut) in winter time. To me anyway the best is the lovely outdoor garden where you can have a beer and enjoy sunset in summertime. And the beautiful surroundings. On Wednesdays there is a special for bikers and there can be hundreds of bikes of all kinds. The place is located in a didactic farmhouse where kids can see a variety of animals and there are also games for them to play while mum and dad...

Quite a disappointing burger lunch. We ordered two without bacon and one with, first they served 2 with bacon. Well, at least this got fixed easily, but we also ordered these two without bacon as medium! And guess what!? They were well-done! Just for information to this restaurant: pls see attached picture how medium burger looks like (for example) in the USA, the UK, Germany and Spain (where this is taken). Is there something wrong in your meat quality if you cannot make it as this when medium asked...
