Ripasso Ravintola — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

The interior of the restaurant was lovely, good atmosphere, and the service was good. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the food - I just feel like 20 euros for what it is, is obscene and I feel like the owners are laughing all the way to the bank. The menu was quite unusual, and you can tell the owners are not Italian though everything is presented in a sort of Italian style. I have had lots of Italian pizza in my life including Roman style thin crust pizza, but this one was so thin and full of air and not like pizza at all, more like a water biscuit in taste and texture. It was quite small and oval shaped, and had the tiniest amount of toppings in the middle, which were also quite bland and definitely not the good authentic Italian ingredients I’m used to. The tomato sauce I could barely taste despite opting for a red pizza - and a good tomato base is the foundation of a good pizza after all. It all just felt like they tried to save as much money as they could on the quantity and quality of ingredients and charge as much as they dare for maximum profit, which was disappointing. Excellent oven pasta dishes and tasty pizzas. Tiramisu to die for. The menu also has salads. We’re becoming regulars as the atmosphere is lovely and service is welcoming.

From the outside the restaurant often looks like it’s closed while it actually is open.

Even that restorant is a bit far from metro. But that is absolutly one of the cozy places what i met before. They have a lot kind of tea, really good tea, they making nice coffee, waitress she us nice. She doing good coffee. She is smiling. Amazing place. They even making perfect tiramisu.
