Ravintola Kettu ja Kana — Restaurant in Lahti sub-region

The atmosphere was lovely, the place has a cute style, and I enjoyed the decor. Additionally, the bread and the salad bar were good.

However, I feel the need to mention that the main dishes we ordered did not meet our expectations, and the price was a bit on the high side for the overall quality of the food. The honey chicken, unfortunately, had a taste and smell that were not pleasant. There was something off about it.I believe the honey cream sauce could benefit from some adjustments to improve its flavor profile.

As for the burgers, they were a bit tasteless and could use more seasoning and / or sauces to make them more flavorful and interesting. They were nicely...

Restaurant has around 30 seats and when we arrived there was like 20 or so customers. The time from arrival to food on the table was 60 minutes which is way too long for any kind of restaurant.

We had to inhale our Kippis Pro burgers because we spent 1 hour of our lunch time of 1½ hours waiting. Burger and fries were nice, but no reason to order the bigger version. Burger steak was kind of bland so the best part of the meal was pork...

Jos ajatellaan, että ravintolatason ruoka pitäisi olla sellaista, mitä ihan jokainen ei pysty itse kotona tekemään, niin sen tasoista ruoka ei ole. Jäämeren lohi-annos oli perushyvä. Lohi oli mauton, kuiva ja ylikypsä. Kastikkeita oli vähäisenlaisesti. Kastikkeessa kun oli se ainoa maku koko annoksessa. Porkkanat olivat pakasteesta otettuja miniporkkanoita. Nämäkin voisi tehdä itse. Nälkä lähti, mutta sen kummempaa kokemusta tästä ei saanut. Asiakaspalvelu kohtalaista. Ihan perus "tervetuloa" olisi alkuun hyvä. Hintalaatu-suhde ei oikein kohtaa.

Edelleen naistarjoilijan asiakaspalvelussa kehitettävää. Kerroin haluavani ulos syömään vaikka ulkona hieman satoi. Katos oli kyllä olemassa, ja tämän alla paikat kuivat, silti sain jostakin syystä melko pitkän ihmettelytauon, ennen kuin tarjoilija sanoi, että voin syödä ulkona. Tämä saa asiakkaalle sen tuntemuksen, että on jotenkin outo jos haluaakin syödä ulkona. Kaikkialla muualla euroopassa ja varmasti muuallakin Suomessa on normaalia tähän aikaan vuodessa olla vielä terassilla.

Ruoka itsessään oli parempaa kuin edellisellä kerralla. Lohi ei ollut ylikypsää, vaan erittäin maukasta. Nyt kastike oli lohen päällä. Paistetut pikkuperunat on nyt parempi lisuke. Silti kokonaisuus on jotenkin rasvainen. On rasvainen kala, ja rasvassa...
