Tang Capital — Restaurant in Lappeenranta sub-region

I have to update my review as it doesn't represent the actual quality of the restaurant anymore. Please look at the more recent reviews before going here as most of the good and great reviews are years old.

This place used to be good. Emphasis on used to. Nowadays the food is tasteless and the service is nonexistant. I went at lunch right at the opening hour when you would expect the food to be really fresh, but the rice in the sushi was already dry, as well as the sauces being quite cold. I don't think I've ever had sushi that was this tasteless and dry. There's a better place on the same floor with better food (especially sushi) and...

Definitely the best lunch buffet place in Lappeenranta with variety of options (Sushi, Rice, Drinks and delicious Chicken). Two types of rice (plain and fried), varieties of sushi, original wasabi, moderately spicy chicken, boiled healthy vegetables, salads, fruits - I was amazed by the taste and number of items! This is really worth going everyday.

Another surprise was the Lehmus Roastery Coffee which was included with the Buffet. What a finishing to my nice meal.

I went there with colleagues and it was a treat from our CTO. I'm grateful and lucky that he chose this place. Really amazing environment, taste, price and service.

Sweet and sour sauce was excellent, not tasting like ketchup! Service was friendly and hospitable. This was the first place ever to really think through what the customer needs while having take away. The cashier also checked that we had noticed everything and offered cups for sweet and sour sauce. I really recommend this place for everyone: you could find the widest variety of different food options that I have ever seen anywhere in Finland and some rarer options as well. The buffet was excellent and it was easy to buy from buffet as take away too! Perfect place to go to have Asian style food!...
