Rosso Pizza, Mikkeli — Restaurant in Mikkeli sub-region

We decided to give Rosso a try, even though our previous experiences from way back had kept us away for a decade. The restaurant is quite dark but the decor will do for a family restaurant. The menu was quite short and I found it funny to have falafels in an restaurant inspired by Italian cuisine. The antipasto buffet was surprisingly good. My dish, the crab risotto, was simple and good, but it looked like the cook had paid no effort to the plating of the food. My company took the garlic chicken and was disappointed by the fact that veggies meant just one cherry tomato and green beans. The chicken fillet itself was quite small. Awful experience. I tried to have a dinner with my friends and my dog. There was no sign “dogs are not allowed”. I’ve spent there 15 minutes examining menu and making order. And finally when I made an order the waitress noticed my dog and started to say “no dogs, you should have asked”. She was very rude. And I had to leave. I think she could decide it somehow. But she just kept repeating “no dogs”. It was very sad. I believe if you don’t want dogs in your restaurant you should just put a sign on the door so people don’t...

Omat kokemukset rossosta aiemmin huonot, ystäväni kuitenkin kehui paikan parantuneen joten pika visiitti lounaalle kertoi totuuden. 10,70 hintaan tarjottiin lounas, sekä kahvi. Salaatti kuului ateriaan ja tarjottiin näin ”korona” aikana noutopöydän sijasta lautasella. Annoksen kampela pakkastuote, rinnalla tarjottiin perunoita sekä kauden kasviksia. Ensimmäinen annos joka tuotiin pöytään oli haalea, palautuksen jälkeen seuraavaksi pöytään tuotu versio ei maullaan parantunut. Jos haluat kelpo OK mutta hieman huokeaa kotiruokaa on rosso OK mutta minkään makunautinnon puolesta en voi ravintolaa suositella.
