Ravintola Seglis - Restaurang Seglis — Restaurant in Vaasa sub-region

Me and my friend spent a very nice evening here. Unfortunately it was raining so we couldnt sit outside but the staff was friendly and food was good. On a sunny day you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view of the bay. Everyone in our party ordered different things, both from the "GW" menu and "Seglis summer menu" . Overall the food was very good, the menu consist mainly of seafood dishes. My favourite of the evening was the beef carpaccio starter (says raw beef on the menu) and the desserts were all wonderful. I ate lunch here earlier in the week and I would say that the lunch of the day was a pretty standard lunch. By ordering from the evening menu you will get a completely different experience. They serve their own home brewed beer, which is a nice touch. The food is fairly priced, the dishes from the "Seglis summer menu" were especially generous in portion size. A minus was that it echoes inside the restaurant, so the noice from other guests can be a little disturbing. But I will definitely visit again for both...

An adorable place where we ate only two days in a row, here in Vaasa. Sitting in a perfect space, with the sea in front and the forest in the back, in a total peace, the place has enchanted us totally. Only the murmur of the guests were heard and the cutlery. Yes, it was always full at noon, between 11am and 15pm. The buffet style likes us very much. We enjoyed some salads with cold and delicious herring, pickled vegetables, and the main dishes (others every day) were perfect, very tasty. Combinations of absolutely perfect tastes between meat, vegetable, sauces. We were very impressed by the flavor of the preparations!
