Much better than I expected. Modern art can be so trashy and distasteful but this was not. Lots of new digital art with some comical ideas. Videos playing constantly showing how the work was done. I recommend a visit. They insist on madk wearing. Some of the lighting...

VERY nice size museum and very nice pieces of art and to my surprise they even had one of Andy Warhol's work 'Mao' which is very pop! They had very nice variation on the arts. Highly recommend to go check out before this...

VERY nice size museum and very nice pieces of art and to my surprise they even had one of Andy Warhol's work 'Mao' which is very pop! They had very nice variation on the arts. Highly recommend to go check out before this one switches.

Some modern arts in the museum. I bought a ticket from the Ostrobothnia Museum and used it to visit this museum on the same ticket on same day.

Yllätyksenä rakennuksen sisä- ja ulkopuoli ovat aivan eri paria, olisi moderni taide sopinut vanhaankin miljööseen, mutta ikkunat oli peitetty levyillä, hirret maalattu valkoiseksi ja vanhat seinät, raput ym. oli purettu. No taide oli pääasia ja teokset oli mukavasti esillä teemoittain. Ripustus oli myös onnistunut sekä värien että valojen osalta. Leena Luostarisen Yöleopardi vetosi tänään teoksista eniten.
