Hello, I am a tourist visiting France. This restaurant was recommended by my family. I was expecting it, but the attitude of the waiter was really arrogant and bad. Very disappointing, totally not worth the price, and humiliated as I took friends with me.
Because When we wanted to order food, the waiter forced us to order drinks before we could order food. We have never encountered a restaurant like this in Paris. We felt weird that day, but we still listened to what the waiter said and ordered drinks first.
The waiter gives priority to serving the guests who arrive later than us, who are at the next table, and the food is served faster than our table.
We waited for the main food after eating the appetizers. You said it was 40 minutes waiting accordingly, at that time, we want to know how long it still will take, (by the way we are willing to wait, just want to know how much time left. )but your waiter has a stinky face and said very rudely "I don't even know if you ask me."
Given your price, service should also be very important. In fact, you can kindly help us and ask the kitchen. But your waiters choose to treat guests in the worst way, which makes us feel that the service at the next table (white people) is way better, which makes the Asians at our table feel obviously discriminated against.
It is also because of your service attitude makes us already very unhappy. We decided that if you have not started cooking our meals yet, we will cancel everything, we don't want to stay for an unpleasant restaurant, so we asked if we can pay first.
You ask why I'm sharing this poor experience now, I was trying not to share it, but because it was so bad and depressing, it's still unforgettable, traumatizing, and ruined one of my good evenings in France I have never encountered such a poor service attitude in Paris. I told my friends around me, and I hope to share it with more people here. I hope you can improve it. If the service is not good, the food will not...

Greeted by a warm welcome - why not kick things off with a sparkling kir ( the Vouvray was perfect).
The 3 course menu at €46 is fairly priced for the thoughtful and concise menu that features fish, meat and vegetarian options. Equally considered is the wine list offering great pairings with the menu and wine by the glass if needed. Especially enjoyed the Ménetou-Salon! . We loved our lunch and will happily return - un...
Read moreQue dire ?
