We have had dinner here a year ago and it was great, so we returned yesterday. But things have changed. We now have a friendly black Labrador. So we were refused. 'Sorry, no dogs, our other customers would not like it.' There were no other customers and we have never had any trouble with visitors in restaurants. Usually they rather like our dog who tends to hide under our table and falls asleep shortly after arrival anyway. We tried to ask for a table away from other customers (it was a Sunday evening and we did not expect it to get busy) but the staff insisted. No dogs.
