Le Kashmir — Restaurant in Abbeville

Le Kashmir este un restaurant cu specific indian si pakistanez. dupa cum este specificat la intrarea in local. Bucatarie indiana, yummy, suna foarte bine. Daca nu ai incercat preparate din bucataria indiana, dupa parerea mea, ai trait degeaba. Eu cred ca este cea mai spectaculoasa si delicioasa, practic este regina gusturilor si aromelor. De cand pasesti in restaurant intri intr-o frumoasa poveste indiana, o poveste spusa de frumoasele carpete, tablori sau de accesoriile ce decoreaza localul si peste toate muzica intregeste frumusetea ambientului. Daca doresti o experienta culinara de neuitat, acesta este locul pe care il recomand fara ezitare. Fie ca esti consumator de carne rosie, creveti, peste sau esti vegetarian ( ca noi) aici gasesti cu siguranta cel putin un preparat care-ti va rasfata papilele gustative. Orezul Kashmir, peste massala, mixte savzi, biryani crevettes et legume, toate sunt fabulos de gustoase, dar piesa de rezistenta este Biryani Kashmir cu creveti si legume la care se adauga 25 de condimente, acest preparat este ansolut wow. Nu are cum sa nu-ti placa aceasta locatie, este linistita, placuta ochiului, iar preparatele propuse sunt deosebite. Meniul nu este stufos, iar preturile sunt corecte. Desi am venit in Normandie sa ne bucuram de prezenta focilor si sa servim o masa traditionala cu preparate din fructe de mare, afland de existenta lui am ramas doar cu focile si am ales bucataria indiana, asta a meritat 100%. Va recomand sa faceti macar un pasaj la acest restaurant si garantat daca sunteti din zona va veti intoarce, iar daca nu sunteti localnic veti face ca noi : cand aveti de ales intre bucatarie conventionala si cea indiana , veti alege fara ezitare bucataria indiana. Intre timp a ajuns desertul : inghetata traditionala, facuta de casa, este perfecta, de genul « must taste it ». Domnilor ca multumim pentru ambianta, ospitalitate si mai ales pentru ca ne-ati alintat papilele gustative. Deci nu rata experienta de a-ti delecta papilele gustative cu preparate unice ca gust, aspect si textura. Am observat ca se poate comanda si pentru acasa, deci este simplu si atunci cand suntem in carantina, chiar daca nu este locul ( te poti ajuta de YouTube sa-ti creezi atmosfera potrivita). We wanted something to eat while we stayed near Abbeville. Via Google we found Le Kashmir and were pleasantly surprised. Not only was the food very tasty but the prices were very do-able. If you top that off with a very nice service, and help when it came to explaining the dishes and their spice-level, we had a very nice evening. And since our Frence isn't much more then some vacation-level sentences it was great to find someone who did the whole service just as easy in English. And yes that is special in a country as France. You'll understand I would advice you to give Kashmir a go if you're in the neighborhood, maybe even a little D-tour if your in for a good meal. Worth the time and...

What a great find Le Kashmir was. My wife and I arrived in Abbeville in mid afternoon on 18/8/2025 and spotted Le Kashmir on Google Maps. We were greeted by the young host who immediately engaged with us in English rather than French, having discerned that my French is basic. We went for a mix of the three vegetarian curries to share, a garlic nan, a cheese nan and some boiled rice. We didn't leave a morsel. Every taste was a treat, and being Brits we took our host up on his offer to make it a bit spicy. All washed down with a Kingfisher beer. Thank you to Le Kashmir team for a great meal....
