Absolutely AMAZING! Words can't even describe how wonderful this place is! My family and I loved it. Went to eat with my kids (2 toddlers and a 3 month old - Parents can relate) and it was the most stress free restaurant I have ever been to with kids...the atmosphere was family friendly, the staff were very welcoming, the menu was perfect - even for my fussy kids! The desert - can't fault it! I tried their pineapple, passion fruit and baobab tiramisu... It was so delicious that I had to ask for another portion! I Highly recommend KWETU restaurant ! P.S. We purposely chose Salon De Provence, Marseille as our holiday destination (as we live in Nottingham, UK) to visit the restaurant and we were not disappointed! Just...

We had such a wonderful experience at Kwetu in Salon-de-Provence! The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. We tried the roast chicken with pilau rice and the lamb Kondoo, both beautifully cooked and perfectly spiced. Adding the hot chilli on the side took everything to another level – a real treat for those who enjoy a bit of heat.

For dessert, we had the fried banana, and it was simply amazing – crispy on the outside, soft and sweet inside, the perfect way to finish the meal.

The warm and friendly service made the whole evening even more enjoyable. Kwetu is a place that truly combines great food with great hospitality.

Exceptionnel ! N’étant pas un habitué de la cuisine africaine, j’étais très dubitatif à l’idée de venir y passer un repas avec mes amis. Mais, désireux de tenter une nouvelle expérience, je me suis prêté au jeu.

L’ambiance est extrêmement conviviale. Le restaurant est disposé en longueur et nous mangeons en « groupe » : c’est bien plus appréciable que dans un restaurant où chacun parle dans sa barbe et où le silence laisse place au simple bruit des couverts. Un point très positif !

Le service est extra. Arrivé sans réservation, on n’a d’abord pas pu me recevoir, mais loin de vouloir me rejeter, on m’a proposé d’attendre quelques minutes afin de m’offrir une table. Évidemment, un bon restaurant a peu de disponibilités : pensez donc à réserver ! J’ai été accueilli avec le sourire et la volonté de m’inviter à partager cet univers.

Parlons de la cuisine… Si vous pensiez, en regardant la carte, que les prix étaient trop élevés, attendez de voir votre assiette. Ici, c’est pour les vrais mangeurs : les plats sont servis avec générosité et un supplément de goût absolument délicieux. Cela m’a amené à me remettre en question : pourquoi allons-nous habituellement dans des restaurants « abordables » ? Ici, on vient pour bien manger et nourrir son envie de souvenirs. On repart avec cette petite voix dans un coin de la tête : « J’y reviendrai ». Je préfère dépenser un peu plus que d’ordinaire et venir ici, plutôt qu’aller ailleurs juste pour dire « j’ai été au restaurant ».
