Overpriced bagels that are not even bagels, no matcha to be found in the matcha and the coffee frappe is full of artificial sweeteners that taste awful. The prices are way overpriced for the quality and portions you get. The waiters speak perfect English, but still talk to customers in French (it’s their right obviously as we are in France after all, but it is not necessarily contributing to giving a feeling of warm welcome and hospitality). Also it is not possible to pay here with any bank card (debit or credit)!! It’s 2025 are you serious!!? The worst thing is that they don’t tell that to you up front, there is only a minor notice on the menu literally saying ‘No CB’!? How should people know what this means?? You need to walk 300m to the nearest ATM if you have no cash with you. Very disappointing...

At first, this place left a good impression, until it came time to pay the bill. My friend and I ordered and when we wanted to pay, the waiter told us that it’s been impossible to pay by card in Ajaccio for 5 years — even though we had just paid by card in another café nearby. The waiter was rude and claimed my reaction was because of two glasses of wine, to which I replied that he has no right to comment on my presence or how much I choose to eat or drink — that’s my personal decision. He pretended not to understand. Their English is also very poor, so I absolutely do not recommend this place.

Bonus: they charged us for the chips we asked about beforehand, and the waiter clearly said they were free — but magically they appeared...

Really wanted to love this place as the design is very appealing and it came recommended by a friend! What a disappointment it was! Perhaps it used to be great once but it seems that it lost its soul and only the beautiful facade remained! The owner who is also a server is very skilled in sitting people from the street at the table and then ripping them off of their last cents! You don’t feel valued as a customer, fake smile, everything is way overpriced, you can only pay cash and of course they forget to give you the change as if they want to force your hand to pay even more! Very bad value for money, just take a picture of the beautiful design of the place and move on elsewhere to get a better meal and value...
