We had the best lunch at Gobi Caffè. We’d arrived by boat and thought that maybe the dining options might not be great since it’s geared towards tourists. But the quality of amazing Corsican specialties and dining in a spectacular setting was such a special treat. Cow and baby otter (or something like it) included!

De passage à Girolata, nous avons déjeuné au Gobi Caffe le 10 juillet 2023. Tout d'abord l'endroit est sublime, ambiance bois et petit cours d'eau. Une belle végétation pour un repas à l'ombre (après quelques heures en mer on apprécie !) Accueil sympa, carte minimaliste mais grandement attractive. Salade avec produits frais du jardin, charcuteries et très bons fromages frais corses. Pour une corse vivant sur l'île, la qualité des produits est majeure quand je déjeune à l'extérieur. Tout ici est réuni : beau cadre, cuisine raffinée et décors sans chichi ;) A refaire sans hésiter. Je recommande +++

Un vrai petit coin de paradis pour une pause gourmande ! Niché dans un cadre naturel magnifique, entre bois et cours d’eau, ce restaurant offre une ambiance apaisante à l’ombre d’une belle végétation. La carte est courte mais pleine de promesses, avec des produits frais du jardin et des spécialités corses savoureuses. Tout est fait maison, et ça se sent dans l’assiette : simplicité, fraîcheur et qualité sont au rendez-vous. L’accueil est chaleureux, sans chichi, ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus agréable. Une adresse à ne pas manquer si vous passez par Girolata. Je recommande vivement !

Original and with personality. For casual eating is a perfect place. We had the salad and a plate of corse charcuterie. the veggie quiche with local produce. Both very good. The atmosphere is rustic and original and it fits right in with the location. service friendly and efficient....
