Mile End Café — Restaurant in Ajaccio

We went to this cute cafe to have lunch. To escape the heat, whilst also get fed sufficiently, we ordered the avocado salad and requested for extra eggs to maintain protein consumption. Following which, we ordered a coffee each, fresh orange juice and a beautiful homemade matcha cookie (mildly sweet so was perfect!). Such great value for the amount of food! It was about 26 euros for a three course meal. I got an omelette, a bagel with avocado, cream cheese, and lox, then bowl of fruits for dessert. Everything was prepared so nicely! The first two dishes also came with a side of yummy salad each. I also very much enjoyed the matcha latte. Went in for a quick bite in the morning. We got the matcha mango, cappuccino, pistachio cupcake and chocolate banana bread. Everything was not bad, the cupcake was the best. The matcha was good however the mango was a bit too much so the drink mostly tasted like the mango. The banana bread was dry and would probably be better heated up. The cappuccino was not bad. Overall seems like a cute place, just a few changes in making the items would help...
