Restaurant U Castellu — Restaurant in Ajaccio

Terrible place, stay away! We can't understand any good reviews about this place, the food is dreadful and the service is nasty. We spent the last 3 weeks travelling through Europe and this was by far the worst meal we had. We've eaten at several of the other restaurants in the local area and all were great, so why bother with Castellu? It's a mystery. Avoid, and visit literally any other restaurant in the area, they're all better...

The food was very bad. I ordered pasta with seafood and it tasted tasted like straight up human waste. It didn't have any salt or just any seasoning. We ordered the meat medium rare but it ended up being very overcooked and was also lacking in alot of salt. We also ordered fish which didn't have any salt at all. Overall it was stuctually lacking in alot of salt and wasn't worth the 202 euro's we paid for it. But the staff was...

Nette Location, leider nur Profit orientiert - waren mit 2 Motorrädern im Hochsommer hier - haben beim Eintreten bereits angemerkt, dass wir etwas trinken und evtl. Eine Kleinigkeit essen wollen, worauf der Kellner schon nicht mehr sehr motiviert war… haben uns dann für Softgetränk und Dessert entschieden (Profiterole/Panna Cotta), da auf der Karte leider keine Kleinigkeiten verzeichnet waren - woraufhin wir dann freundlich aber bestimmt von der Terrasse in den Vorgarten. dirigiert wurden - Dessert scheint nicht als „essen“ zu zählen - soweit nicht weiter schlimm, aber als dann die Sonnenschirme auf Grund einer leichten Brise eingeklappt wurden und wir in der prallen Mittagssonne in Motorradklamotten saßen, hatte der Ober nur Glück, dass unser Dessert bereits bestellt war… nicht nur unhöflich, sondern auch dreist, da auf meine Nachfrage ob wir dann nicht doch unter dem Dach im Schatten essen könnten (wo wir vorher saßen) plötzlich alles voll war und wir verstehen müssten, das es schwierig ist rein/raus/rein zu gehen?… schlechtester Service den ich auf Korsika je erlebt habe… etwas weiter die Straße Richtung Ajaccio haben wir dann...
