Was walking through the streets and stumbled across this little restaurant on the corner. We were looking at the menu on the wall when we took a seat and then we saw the prefix menu that offered three course meal for 16 1/2 euros and 19 1/2 euros. A lovely waitress who spoke English came by to take our order. She assisted me on which entrée to choose from from our menu. We ordered a small bottle of wine and the first course was delivered. Just wonderfully refreshing for a lunchtime appetizer. When the entrées were served we were both excited to try them. Both did not disappoint. We took a starter, Aventino, that we found very good (they didn’t give us the dishes to share it).
After we took a Sierra (an entrecôte) and a Volterra (a tagliata). The dishes seem good but the taste didn’t confirm. Indeed the entrecôte was nervous and not tasteful (strange compared to the other meats I ate in the previous days), and the tagliata seemed not so fresh.

Read moreThe worst pasta I've had in a very long time. I don't remember the precise name of the dish but I had tagliatelle with roasted tomatoes, basil and parmesan. The pasta was clearly overcooked and how as an Italian restaurant you cannot manage to make a decent basic tomato sauce remains a mystery.
