Was walking through the streets and stumbled across this little restaurant on the corner. We were looking at the menu on the wall when we took a seat and then we saw the prefix menu that offered three course meal for 16 1/2 euros and 19 1/2 euros. A lovely waitress who spoke English came by to take our order. She assisted me on which entrée to choose from from our menu. We ordered a small bottle of wine and the first course was delivered. Just wonderfully refreshing for a lunchtime appetizer. When the entrées were served we were both excited to try them. Both did not disappoint. We had a choice on desserts and we took the crème brûlée and the Panna cotta. Both were fabulous. If ever in this part of town I would strongly urge a visit to this restaurant. Well worth your time and money

Did someone say gnocchi? Wow five different versions of sauces for their how many gnocchi but I guess everything is homemade in France and Italy compared to the US.. both my partner, and I got the same dish which was gnocchi carbonara. Very light gnocchi with cream sauce and pancetta topped with a little bit of Parmesan. I couldn’t finish it all so rich and good. The service was great. Such a quaint city loved it.

We went here twice during our holiday. The 1st time was nice and enjoyed our time. The second time was a bit disappoiting. The service was lower, felt a bit neglected and not as good as the 1st time. The menu is 33euros and has fish in it as main. Its good and tastes good but surely not filling, even for a small eater. The scenery is the best thing about this place.

I went here for a dinner. The staff was friendly and smiling and even if I didn’t reserve they find us a table for two.

We took a starter, Aventino, that we found very good (they didn’t give us the dishes to share it).

After we took a Sierra (an entrecôte) and a Volterra (a tagliata). The dishes seem good but the taste didn’t confirm. Indeed the entrecôte was nervous and not tasteful (strange compared to the other meats I ate in the previous days), and the tagliata seemed not so fresh.

Globally unsatisfying. Great service but...

The worst pasta I've had in a very long time. I don't remember the precise name of the dish but I had tagliatelle with roasted tomatoes, basil and parmesan. The pasta was clearly overcooked and how as an Italian restaurant you cannot manage to make a decent basic tomato sauce remains a mystery. It probably comes down to bad and cheap ingredients and no love and care for what you make and feed your customers. To put it in a nutshell, another tourist trap. Spare yourself the...
