We visited for breakfast on 3 occasions. The food and service were fantastic. From my understanding, the restaurant was recently taken over by a French-English family. The owner is wonderfully kind and happily explains how all of the fresh produce - sausages, eggs, bread - was made at her local farm. She treated us to different cheeses and homemade yogurts, also produced in-house, with our full English breakfasts too. Super tasty, fresh food and lovely, homely setting. Amazing service, the best raclette we’ve ever had, and a great selection of wine! The owner personally roasts the raclette over an open fire, which adds a smoky flavor to the cheese. The next day, we returned to visit the complementary cheese shop, and the owner recognized us, greeted us, and made sure we were well taken care of. Definitely worth a visit when you are in Champagny. It is a small restaurant, so make sure you make a reservation in time!...
