L'Arpasson — Restaurant in Albertville

Let me be clear. This is the worst experience I have ever had in France. I wanted to order chips, they forced me to buy a bunch of extraneous items that I didn’t want for a total of €29. Fine. Then I went to check out and they allowed me to take 2 tiny ketchup sachets, then refused to allow me to buy more without additional items again.

On the prior day, a child not in our party was sick, we tried to buy water for them. They forced us to spend 12 euros to buy water despite the fact they could see the sick child in front of them.

A lovely place on the slope of Plan de L'Homme, with a bar and seating area out front and two floors of seated dining behind. If you're stopping for a drink, this place is lovely looking out over the mountains. For food, I would say it is best for their self service option, selling plates of charcuterie, cheese, quiche and fries etc. The seated dining option is extortionately expensive, even selling the same as downstairs at a higher price! Avoid this if you want a sit down meal, I would say ski down to Mottaret where there is a variety of places.

Self service restaurant but you cannot have your own snacks even when you buy drinks and extra food from the restaurant. In a ski restaurant and not having your own snacks is nit very acceptable in my opinion, when you are also not selling sandwiches or small snacks.
