This place hits different. There is fish on the menu and it is very fairly priced for the quality and quantity. The host was if somewhat nervous a fine gentleman who really connected with us.
For starters we had the mushrooms/egg combo and onion soup and very reasonably priced oysters. The starters were all very good and reasonably priced!
For mains we had burgers and the chefs choice. My burger was where I had my troubles. It was just excellently made. But it surely lacked some wow factor.
The chefs choice meat platter was very good! Incorperating different meats and adding marrowbone which was a nice twist!
Overall my recommendations are for you to check this place out if you are looking for a solid menu and a great chef. I think you do need to see that the specialties and slight twists to everyone else are really where this place shines.

   Read moreIt's ok, nothing special. We went for an evening meal in mid February, so I'd have expected it to be busy. It was quite empty, and didn't have much atmosphere. It was a bit chilly sat by the windows, so make sure you dress up warm. The bar looked nice enough, but was empty.
The food is the same as you can find in numerous other restaurants around. It was well prepared, but really nothing unusual. Wines by the glass or bottle (no 50cl carafes) were ok, but for 5 euro a glass and 25⏠and up they are basic.
I give it 4 stars, because it doesn't deserve 3 (everything was fine), but really it is lacking...

Beaucoup trop fort en 4 Ă©pices, je ne sentais que ça. Elle est repartie Ensuite le navarin dâagneau. CâĂ©tait sensĂ© ĂȘtre en basse tempĂ©rature: vu la texture sĂšche jâen doute. Encore une fois la sauce hyper Ă©cĆurante. Jâadore manger sucrĂ© salĂ© et lĂ je nâai rien pu manger, je lâai renvoyĂ©e. Jâai piochĂ© dans la tartiflette de Monsieur et le supplĂ©ment frites: les frites hyper salĂ©es, renvoyĂ©es Ă©galement (tous les clients adorent, vraiment? Ăa a Ă©tĂ© reconnu par le patron cela dit).

Il y a eu des fondues sur la table, je ne donnerais pas mon avis sur le goût. Par contre, toutes les personnes concernées ont maintenant mal au ventre. Trop gras/tranché?

Des cheveux dans une salade. La bouteille de vin qui nâest jamais arrivĂ©e. Il y a eu un geste commercial certes, mais au final ça reste une expĂ©rience vraiment catastrophique.
