Not a great meal. To start off, there were around 20 tables seating 4+ and one waitress who was doing her best and run off her feet. We ordered the Tartiflette, fondou for 1, steak and a steak haches. The tartiflette was leftover chopped potatoes in a snall dish with two slices of brie on top and some leftover sauce. The steak was fatty and stringy, the haches lacked any kind of sauce or condiments and was dry.
We complained about the tartiflette and it was whipped away. I was offered an alternative and had the steak. The chips were double fried.
Desert was better. The berry pie and creme brulee were reasonable, we were given a free tiramisu and a liqueur again as an apology from the waitress. The bill was 135 euro for 2 adults, 2 kids, which to be fair is not expensive in Les Menuires. Nonetheless, there was no pride, creativity or love in the dishes which makes 135 euros a tall price to pay.

We ordered fish and chips it was okay but nothing more than that. Just piece of fish. Plus for hand made fries. Also we took some sort of baked potatoes with bacon and cheese. Again, nothing spectacular.
As a dessert we took bluberry pie which was uneatable, disgusting and seemed to be stale. I'd never give my guests a bare tarte bottom with wrinkled blueberrys with some artificial jam thingy. I'd not even call it a dessert. Good thing waiters have excldued it from the bill - maybe they are aware of its quality.
And speaking of waiters the lady's mouth odour inidicated she drank something more than just an apperol she was gently sipping throughout our dinner. I can understand a lot but cmon

Read moreFinally a quality restaurant in the Menuires Croisette area! Their food is excellent, homemade and delicious. We had the plat du jour, savoyard Burger and croque Monsieur, all better than all the Croisette restaurants. The Tiramisu is to die for. If you want a sample of really good French cuisine, this is the place. They have all the classic savoyard dishes and the ones we tried were delicious. The service is excellent, and the owners absolutely lovely. Prices are cheaper that the Croisette restaurants, probably because it is slightly outside the Croisette, a 50 meter walk but well worth it. We will be going there for all our diners for the rest...
