Les 3 Vallées Café — Restaurant in Albertville

Bad service, bad food ! We went there before a few days and we chose 2 packages ( including coffee, juice,food , fruit salad ) coffee came and the bread & butter to my boyfriend but a bunch of bad steps followed . We had asked 1 fresh orange juice and a box juice came instead . We mentioned they changed . Then we were waiting a long long time for my food to come and 45 minutes had passed. We realised that probably something wrong happened with our order . I was trying to figure out going in front the cashier and it was 3 employees ( 1 guy with grey hair must be the owner - I’m not sure and 2 waitress in front of)it was like nobody see me and I was trying to speak to them. It was like I wasn’t obvious . I had to talk to a customer next to me that was speaking English ( cause nobody could understand in English only in French ) and somehow we solved the problem with the order . After an extra 15 minutes the eggs came out. I saw them coming out waiting at the station and the guy told to the waitress to deliver at the table . She was busy that time so she just left the eggs waiting there and after a while when she saw them again she brought to us . It was literally ONE egg on the plate . Better not to serve this thing . Before we leave the cafe the guy came and told us ‘ sorry something wrong went with the machine of the kitchen , so they never saw your order and if we want an extra coffee . We left dissapointed and hungry and we ended up in an other coffee station in the town to eat something. In addition they charged everything even we were waiting almost 1 hour and from my fiancé order was missing and the fruit salad . Never came as well. Meanwhile and as long as we were waiting for our food the requested to change table cause at this area that we were sitting they were starting serving lunch . But the thing is that we had never received our breakfast. It’s a cafe next to the train station , so the attitude and the whole service must be for sure higher . Credits to the blonde waitress that was the only employee seemed to understand more in English be more kind and trying...

The food is ok, we had apple pie and cafe gourmand, ice cream, tea and it was fine. But we were shocked by the lack of professionalism and bad service. The serveuse brought drinks and instead going around to serve everybody she passed the plate with cafe gourmand at the start of the table (we were 8) so that we would pass it along. But one person in our party had an arm injury and couldn’t hold the plate so the whole thing fell spilling hot coffee on the same person who had immobilized arm. We approached the server who was there and asked why they couldn’t serve orders correctly I.e make a couple of extra steps and deliver to each the person, and the answer was that it was our fault that the plate fell and spilled. No sorry, no offer to help. When we went to ask for paper napkins to clean the mess at the cashier, the serveuse who was there very rudely yelled saying “why are you bothering my colleague with this, it was your fault!’ All I can say is that people we met today have no concept of hospitality despite working in a restaurant. The lack of self awareness (maybe it was not their fault but it WAS their job to serve orders properly) and empathy for customers is hard to forget. Really sad to have encountered them. P.s. On the picture is the plate with cafe gourmand - as you can see it’s designed to have things fall off very easily if you don’t hold it straight. This cafe is super cool and stylish it has a really great vibe! There are plug sockets at the tables which is great especially if you are going there to work on your laptop! The staff are really friendly and are well informed about the menu! There isn't a great selection of vegan options but the ones they do have are pretty decent! The coffee is delicious! The only negative I have to say about les e valley's cafe is the price! The food is delicious but I had a salad for €13 which I was happy to pay but I expected a bit more for the price! My boyfriend ate a burger and said it was delicious! Overall a really cool cafe with friendly staff and great food! Just be prepared to pay that...
