Came here the last day for lunch before leaving our Chalet. The available parking was not immediately clear but the owner was kindly pointed out for us once we went inside and asked. Food was fantastic. They do a menu board in English and another in French. For starters, we had French onion soup, Charcuterie plate & cheese, and snails cassolette with cream garlic cider. All very good even our 5 yr old loved the onion soup and the snails!!! For the mains we had Veal onglate, Pigs trotters (this place is very famous for this dish), and Duck confit with mashed potatos for our 5 year old. All tasted wonderful, my daughter polished her duck confit!! With a couple of drinks, all came to €110. Very reasonable price! We booked a table for 12:00 and it got really busy (full) 30mins later, with many skiers coming in for lunch. The place is very very small, with good art decor, but it has boots warmers for ski boots and a very big and clean (but cold) toilet. Locals advised us to book in advance if you want to go here.

Very good place praised by locals and which naturally has a lot of denizens. The food is authentic and traditional, everybody was quite pleased. There's variety in the main dishes: one burger, meats like "côte de bœuf" (for two), "côte d'agneau", "pied de cochon" and "filet (magret) de canard", two fishes and for the colder days, fondue. A full meal costs about 50€ per head, not counting the wine. The service was nice but it's hard to be objective because we were with one of the denizens :). The restaurant is in the middle of an authentic village. There's a terrace which is really great of warmer days. The lend hats, which is an awesome idea because ski beanies can be quite warm in the sun that low in the valley. And an even more awesome thing is that they have a ski shoes dryer and they lend slippers!!

A little gem - excellent food and amazing owner. We took the recommendation from Google Maps as a change from the usual restaurants in Bourg Saint Maurice and it was a lovely surprise. Full marks for variety of menu, full marks for quality of food, full marks for wine and beer selection, full marks for atmosphere and last but not least FULL MARKS for the owners - so sweet, accommodating and cheerful. Their Vitello Tonnato hmmmmm excellent 🤫
