Saturday 13th August 2016. Third visit to this beautiful village. Ate at Sel et Sucre tonight and rather wish we hadn't. Service was slow and inattentive. I found a long hair in my salade verte (not mine) and pointed it out to the waitress -yes, you know who you are - who made no comment whatsoever. I then found another short hair in my omelette. Menus taken away from me as we were about to order dessert and the same waitress threw down my spoon with icecream when it was finally ordered. My husband had to go into the cafe to get his drink. Really very poor service and we won't be going back there in a hurry. Shame that service tip was already included in the bill - we certainly wouldn't...
Read moreWe had a fantastic lunch at Sel et Sucre. Despite arriving as a group of ten, including four children, during peak service, the staff was incredibly accommodating. They promptly offered to serve the children's menu right away, and true to their word, the kids were served simultaneously with our apéritifs. They have baby chairs for the youngest.

This strange precondition however, only applied to tourists and not the locals….. We ordered salads, which were fine, but this place has a severe case of overstaffing.
