Just got home from our vacation in France. We stayed right across the street from this little Mexican restaurant.
Our first impression wasn't great. When we went to the restaurant the glass door was closed. Whilst trying to open it the employees on the inside just stared at us. It was definitely not vary inviting. I would've expected them to help us open the door and invite us in as we are their customers.
additionally, when we came into the restaurant and we looked around for a place to sit. we then proceeded by asking to sit outside, they sounded kinda annoyed because the tables were not set up outside and they would have to do this. However, we did this anyways. Whilst we were siting outside it started to rain and we picked our drinks up to move inside. But, when we moved inside we went to go sit at an empty table on the terrace (which had a cover over it and others were sitting here). But no, no, no. The waitress decided that the only place we could sit in the entire empty restaurant was all the way inside with no view. In my opinion they didn't really seem to care out their customers and when we left the restaurant after our food the tables that we wanted to sit at were still empty...
On to the food. Which is the only reason this review is getting 3 stars. The main course was great, very authentic Mexican food which is hard to come by in Europe.
However, the appetizer was a little disappointing. We ordered a "nacho" thinking it would be nacho(s) as an appetizer. But instead we got a tostada. Which is definitely not the same thing. I don't know who made the menu but that is very deceiving.
All in all, the food was great but customer service was weird and a little...
Read moreOne of very few Mexican restaurants around Lake Annecy, Adelita is a quaint and cozy little place where you can get some pretty good food! It has a nice outdoor eating area and a well-decorated indoor one. It's not super big in size, so you might want to get a reservation ahead of time if you're going during the summer. (Though covid19 has probably affected business a bit)
Food isn't cheap but it's not really expensive either for around the lake (count about 30 euros per person for a meal and desert). Overall, pretty good! And probably the best place for Mexican cuisine on this side...

Passez...
