In Lauris for just one night we selected this restaurant for dinner. Located on the side of a village street It provides both indoor and outdoor terrace seating (the latter protected from the street by a decorative timber wall) Glad we made a reservation because upon arrival the place seemed already quite busy and within 30 minutes it had no more free seats) Welcome and overall service was friendly and efficient From the menu we selected the special of the day...epaule de porcelet....but unfortunately that wasn't available anymore, so instead we ordered the tuna tataki and tartare de veau to start with, followed by the cheviche de poisson au zaatar and the tentacule de poulpe snackee and we finished it off with an amazing lavender icecream....first time we tried this taste and highly recommended! Read moreC’était super bon ! en entrée j’ai pris un tartare thon-boeuf, mon père a pris un carpaccio d’andouillette et ma mère des tomates sous toutes leurs formes très bonnes, bon mélange de texture apparemment. Moi le mariage des deux protéines se maraient bien et mon père a dit que c’était vraiment bon son andouillette et il y avait aussi un peu haddock donc un mélange mer-terre réussi !
En plat avec ma mère on a pris des tempuras de courgettes c’était très bon bien relevé au citron, et mon père le poulpe très tendre il a dit que c’était exceptionnel, et après en dessert ils ont pris un coulis de pêche lavande très bon plus type compote et moi j’ai pris le fondant au chocolat il était très bon mais surtout bien costaud, ça cale bien !
