La Table Gourmande — Restaurant in Apt

Fantastic local pizzeria in the heart of Luberon. While staying at Mas Dansavan B&B they recommended their favorite small town Italian pizza. The menu and the prices were perfect for a week in Provence. The size of our pizzas were huge. We weren't able to split it - I understand they were only €12.50. And I'm not sure what another reviewer thought about too much cheese, there is no such thing in France - - YUM!

We had fast and easy service and our reservations were easy to make. I would highly recommend if you would like to experience some local flare with fresh tastes and lively atmosphere to try it out. We were definitely the tourists here though. HA!

A very friendly and welcoming restaurant. We booked over the phone with ease as the lady spoke very good English, we do try with our French but it was good to know in case we needed it that wè were understood. The restaurant has an interior and exterior seating area. Both inside and out set out nicely and tastefully done. We chose inside as it was a very warm night and it was cooler inside. The food is delicious. We had a steak dish, a curried dish, and our daughter ate from the children's menu and had chicken nuggets. Everything was freshly cooked and very tasty. I was tempted to have chicken nuggets, but unfortunately, they did not offer an adult chicken nugget dish. Moreover, they were unable to provide extra nuggets to increase the portion size. However, when the Caesar salad I had ordered was brought to my table, I was truly mesmerised. To my utter surprise, the chef had ingeniously transformed my chicken bits into chicken nuggets - it was an incredible revelation! The wonderful lady who attended to us conveyed my message to the chef. My husband opted for the another salad option and both salads were absolutely delectable - a true feast for the taste buds. The other dishes on display were equally splendid. The presentation was undoubtedly top-notch.

J'étais tenté(e) de prendre des nuggets de poulet, mais malheureusement, ils ne proposaient pas de portion adulte de nuggets de poulet. Ils n'avaient pas non plus de nuggets supplémentaires disponibles pour en faire une portion plus grande. Cependant, quand le plat que j'avais commandé, une salade César, a été placé sur ma table, j'étais hypnotisé(e).
