I had an amazing dinner at Guisa’O and was truly impressed by both the flavors and presentation. We ordered the tartare de daurade with zucchini and green gazpacho, the poached egg with beet hummus and parmesan crumble, the roasted cod with chorizo crust and spring risotto, and the filet de bœuf façon Rossini with foie gras.
Everything was fresh and beautifully plated, but the main dishes really stood out. The cod was perfectly cooked — flaky and full of flavor — and the beef Rossini was rich, tender, and absolutely delicious with the foie gras and meat jus. You can tell everything is carefully made with quality ingredients.
The dessert is on average, as they are not fully made in house, but I really don’t mind.
The 3 course meal is only €38. With those high quality appetizers and main dishes, the price is surprisingly reasonable.
The cocktail and mocktail are also the best I’ve had in French, and even comparable with the best I’ve had in US where I’m from.
