I want so badly to be able to give this restaurant 5 stars. I lived in China in 2009 and 2010 and when I saw this place my heart grew three sizes. However, I've tried it their "daily lunch menu" twice and the main dishes just aren't there. The shrimp spring rolls are nice. The coconut glutenous rice ball is nice. But both main dishes (they change every day) were just super lacking in flavor. Where is the spice?!?! Where is the delicious sauce that makes Chinese food the best-selling food in the world?! The second time I went, I specifically asked if they could make the food spicy. It helped a bit. It didn't help make it spicy (not spicy), but I did detect some flavor.
I'm going to keep going back for their 10 euro lunch special (no drink included), but not sure how many more times I can handle the disappointment if it doesn't...
