Pitaya Thaï Street Food — Restaurant in Arrondissement of Nanterre

Although I can’t speak to the atmosphere and service as I ordered this as a takeaway, in terms of food quality, this is a great Pitaya Branch.

I’ve had Pitaya before at other locations and been a lot less impressed - my food from this location was hot, generously portioned and delicious, which is all I could ever ask.

I ordered the chicken to start, the beef loc lac as a main course and the white chocolate and matcha cookie for dessert, along with a fresh mango drink to go with the meal. The beef loc loc was one of the best I’ve had from a Pitaya and the chicken, though lacking in seasoning, was really tasty with the spicy mayo. The cookie was moreish and an amazing way to end the meal.

I ordered a "pad thaï". I got noodles barely cooked, not stir fried and drowned into soy sauce. All I could taste was salt. Did you know that pad thai is supposed to be made with tamarind? Have you ever had a pad thaï once in your lifetime to serve such a dish to customers? Don't you feel ashamed of spoiling a " national" dish? How would you feel if tomorrow you go to thailand and have a croissant who taste like caned tuna? Please change your recipe or change the tag name of your dishes on your menu, and stop...

Première fois dans ce restaurant. Je mets 3 étoiles alors que si certains points seraient amélioré je pourrais en mettre 5. J'y suis aller avec une amie, mardi soir. La personne a l'accueil/la caisse, avait l'air débordée la pauvre ! Beaucoup de choses a gérer pour 1 seule personne c'est trop. Je ne pense pas qu'il faille laisser une personne gérer beaucoup de choses. Preparer la commande des uns et des autres, accueillir, je me demande même si certains plats ne sont pas arrivés froid chez les gens... Cette jeune femme etait très gentille et garder son sang froid, pleine d'énergie et de peps, courage à elle. Elle s'est prit la tete avec un livreur qui était presser. On ne peut pas être partout...

Dommage que le restaurant soit si petit, trop de courant d'air, manque de place pour manger.

Toute fois tout n'est pas à revoir. Pad thaï crevettes délicieux ! La quantité est juste parfaite ! Le plat est beau en plus d'être bon ! Option végétarienne que j'apprécie aussi en pouvant mettre du tofu. Bravo !

Je recommande ce plat et son dessert (j'ai oublié le nom, il se présente dans une petite verrine, tellement bon).
